A RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE SUMS OF MONEY

A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING SUMS OF MONEY TO VARIOUS FUNDS AND SPENDING AGENCIES IN THE AMOUNTS AND FOR THE PURPOSE AS SET FORTH BELOW FOR THE TOWN OF HOLLY, PROWERS COUNTY, COLORADO, FOR THE 2026 BUDGET YEAR

WHEREAS, on December 3, 2025, by Resolution No. 2025-10, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Holly adopted the annual budget for the Town’s 2026 budget year in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has made provision therein for revenues/fund balances in an amount equal to or greater than the total proposed expenditures or planned expenditures from reserves/fund balances as set forth in said budget; and

WHEREAS, it is not only required by law but also necessary to appropriate the revenues provided in the budget to and for the purposes described below so as not to impair the operations of the Town.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF HOLLY, COLORADO:

That for the 2026 budget year of the Town of Holly, Colorado the following sums are hereby appropriated from each fund for the purposes stated:

            General Fund (Library included)                      $    762,733

            Utility Fund                                                                   2,201,000

            Conservation Trust Fund                                              10,650

            Total Funds                                                                 $ 2,974,383

That the Board of Trustees hereby finds and declares that an emergency exists and that the public health, welfare, and safety require that this Resolution shall be and become effective immediately after its final passage and publication.
